MY REAL JOB

I like to say that I personalize debt consolidation. The main reason why is because I went through a debt consolidation myself and that changed my financial situation 180 degrees. I was able to get out of debt and helped me create my nest egg. And that’s exactly what I want to create for my clients as well.

Majority of my clients are debt consolidation cases and by doing that, I get to directly impact their life. My whole focus when I’m talking to my clients is learning more about their situation, learning more about their goals and making sure I create the most value in their life as possible.

MY REAL LIFE

I’m originally from South Korea and I moved to United States with my family in 2007. I graduated from high school and decided to go into the Marine Corps because I always wanted to be a Marine as a kid.

When I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with my girlfriend, my friends or my dog. If I can wake up early enough, I’ll go fly-fishing here in Arkansas, that’s one of my biggest hobbies. I love fly-fishing and being out in nature. I also like to do things with my hands; I like to do some woodworking; I’m making a quilt hanger for my friend’s grandma right now.

MY REAL STORY

When I got to the United States, I didn’t speak a lick of English. After two years of being in the U.S., my oldest sister went to college and I had to pick up the role of translating for my parents. Their business, their car, their house, pretty much everything that they owned went through me at some point. That showed me what it was like to be responsible for others at an early age.

I want to have that personal connection and you can’t do that if you’re not willing to be open. I want to know my clients and I want them to know me. I’m pretty much an open book.

I can’t make any promises as a lender, but one promise I can make to my clients as a professional is that I will always be transparent with them on whether I can create value. I have a lot of tools at my disposal and I’ll always let you know where we can and can’t create value and then we can decide what’s in your best interest from there.
